Josh came to work briefly for DZ Restaurants as a bartender in the fall of 2015. He left soon after to follow his girlfriend who had a career opportunity in Florida, but he promised to return
Josh spent the next two years there as the cost controller and purchasing manager at a prestigious country club in Naples. In November 2017, Josh fulfilled his promise and came back on board to manage the restaurant he calls home.
After more than a decade as server and bartender at acclaimed hotels in Vermont, New York, Maine, and Massachusetts, Josh believes that the joy dining is at the core of what it means to be human. “Food and Beverage should be looked at as an art and an experience that deserve to be shared,” Josh says. “Coming together to create and enjoy each others’ creations, both food and drink, that bond, is what makes us who we are.”
That girlfriend is now Josh’s wife and in their spare time, they love home brewing and cooking at home. They also very much enjoy exploring food and beverage cultures together by traveling around to craft breweries, restaurants, and gastro pubs.
